Do I need an appointment?
Yes, an appointment is required to try on bridal or bridesmaid dresses and you can easily book online. However, you are more than welcome to come in and browse at any time.
How long is my appointment?
A bridal appointment is 90 minutes long and bridesmaid appointment is 60 minutes long. In order to make the most out of your allotted time, please arrive on time because there will be an appointment following yours and we won't be able to extend your appointment.
Who can I bring to my appointment?
We recommend a group of 4 guests or less. Bring the closest friend or family member whose opinions are crucial to your decision. Bringing more than 4 guests can take the focus off of you and too many opinions can make you feel confused and unable to vocalize what it is that you want. Once you find your gown, we recommend you to bring your entourage in so you can show them how amazing you look and feel in your it!
What is your price range?
Our bridal gowns ranges from $1,000 to $3,500 while majority of the gowns are between $1,200 to $2,000. Our bridesmaid dresses are from $150 to $350.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring pictures of dresses you have seen on websites, magazines or Pinterest. We also recommend that you bring proper undergarments such as strapless bra, spanx, corset, and heels to your appointment.
May I take pictures?
Absolutely! We recommend your guests to take the pictures for you so that you can always refer back to your favorites and then come back and try them on again.
When should I purchase my wedding gown?
The typical time to purchase your wedding gown is 9-12 months prior to your wedding. A bridal gown usually takes 4-6 months to arrive. In addition to the time of your gown to arrive, you should allow an additional 2 months for alteration.
What if I don’t have enough time to order a wedding gown?
Don’t worry! We can always help you find your dream gown off-the-rack. Also, some designers do have “rush” shipping available for an additional fee so you will get your gown quicker than their normal delivery.
Can my bridesmaids try on dresses during my bridal appointment?
No. We want to make sure all the focus is on the bride during the bridal appointment. It is best to book a separate bridesmaid appointment.
When should my bridesmaids purchase their dresses?
Your bridesmaids should order their dresses 6 months before the wedding. A bridesmaid dress usually takes 3-4 months to arrive.
Do you sell flower girl dresses or mother dresses?
No, we do not carry any flower girl dresses or mother dresses. However, Allure bridesmaids and Sorella Vita carry styles that work perfectly for mothers and we can order any of these gowns for you.
What happens when my dress arrives?
Once the gown arrive and passes our quality control, we will contact you to schedule a fitting/inspection appointment.
Do you have an alteration department?
We don’t have an alteration department, but we do have 2 very skilled and experienced freelance seamstresses that come to our boutique for all fitting appointments. They will determine the cost of alteration during the first fitting and cash payment is required when the gown is ready to be picked up.
What should I bring to the first alteration fitting appointment?
You will have to bring the shoes and any undergarments that you will wear at your wedding.
Is there a cap on alteration?
Yes the alteration is capped at $500 and it includes taking in, hemming, sewing in the bra cups, and 1 bustle. Alteration cap does not include any custom work such as adding sleeves, additional bustles, adding beadings or lace, etc.
Is the cost of alteration included in the prices of your gown?
No, the alteration cost is not included and will be determined by the seamstresses.
How do I pay for my gown?
We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), and personal checks. We require 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of order for all bridal gowns, 75% for all bridesmaid dresses and 100% for all accessories. When the gown arrives at Max Bridal and passes our quality control check, we will contact you to let you know and to schedule a fitting/inspection. At that point, we require payment of the remaining balance. Dresses sold “off the rack” must be paid in full. Personal checks are only accepted for deposit, not final payment.
Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
No, all sales are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges on any merchandise for any reason. All deposits are non-refundable and cannot be used toward any other purchase.
